Having acquired the Snapfish brand, Hewlett Packard wanted to expand upon the functionality of the site, leading to the formation of Snapfish Lab. They wanted a "beta"-feel to the Lab site which would keep the overall feeling of the main site, but separate it visually. The brief was to provide a "skin" for the applications that the Snapfish Lab team were developing.
The site was developed using XHTML Strict, CSS and a significant amount of JavaScript (including sIFR) to achieve the visual effects desired.
